Alki Beach Pride was created by two Black women who were inspired to pioneer the first-of-its-kind event in the state of WA. Compelled by the history of the forgotten stories of Stonewall, Stacy and Jolie aimed to create a fun, urban, inclusive, and family-friendly event that celebrated diversity, centered equality and committed to engaging with LGBTQ and their families during a fun-filled day at the beach.

Located on the beautiful sands and historic grounds of Seattle’s Alki Beach, our goal is to be a signature Seattle event that is a destination experience featuring live music, waterfront dining, inspiring performances and the breathtaking views of the Puget Sound. It’s Pride’s most soulful (and sandy) celebration of the summer! And West Seattle's Premiere Pride event.

Volunteer for Alki Beach Pride

Alki Beach Pride takes a lot of hands and thoughtful planning year round to make our one-day Pride celebration a success. If you have a special skill or area of interest you’d like to share with us, let us know more! We’re currently in search of a Volunteer Coordinator.

Volunteer Day Of Pride 2024

On the day of our Pride celebration (this year on 8/31/24) we need many volunteers to set up, tear down, work the info booth, provide assistance to our entertainers and vendors, and so much more! Click below to sign up using our google form and we’ll be in touch.

Alki Beach Pride is proud to partner with our LGBTQIA+ community to showcase queer entertainers from all over but local talent will be given priority.

We welcome vendors of all kinds from the greater Seattle area. Retail, holistic, services, and non-profits/orgs are welcome to apply.
